Eugénieusz Waniek was born in 1906 in a very small town,
Ustrzyki, at the foot of Polish South East Carpatian mountains,
where the old house belonging to the Waniek family, was located
Eugeniusz Waniek lives and works in Krakow where for a time he had been a student at the Academy of fine Arts
and later professor of several generations of artists from this School.

Recently, in January 1998 the Historical Museum of Krakow
exposed an important choice of paintings and drawings of Eugeniusz Waniek from 1960 to 1998.
Thus this exhibition shows some paintings from 1933 which may be seen at the Artist's atelier or in Museums.
Concerning other work left in private collections , their search and catalogue will have to be done
when progress of Internet will enables it.
